Not only is the song itself a straight-up pop banger, led by Puru’s devilishly smokey and soulful voice over a bassy groove line and bouncing pop rhythms, but there’s also so much to love about the visuals. Here the goddess-like Puru is spotted by a very well-meaning, but nevertheless dorky, outsider, who despite his enthusiasm and astonishing variety of dance moves, seems like he will never get the girl. That’s exactly what our high-waisted hero does here after being unceremoniously knocked over, this hopeless romantic takes it in his stride, rising to his feet once again only to become the leader of a rag-tag dance crew.
